Shimla
Our trip starts in Shimla, which is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and a popular summertime getaway. With its architectural marvels and Victorian-style buildings, Shimla's colonial charm takes tourists back in time. The shops, bars and handicraft stores that line the Mall Road make it a great place to shop. Shimla is a beautiful place to visit because of the lush greenery and wide views from the Ridge.
Manali
The Start of Adventure As we go farther north, we reach Manali, which is a popular place known for its beautiful scenery and exciting adventure activities. Manali is surrounded by tall, snow-capped mountains and thick forests. There are many things to do there, like paragliding, river rafting, skiing, and trekking. The Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass are must-see places because they have beautiful views and fun things to do in the snow.
Dharamshala
Our next stop is Dharamshala, which is the spiritual centre of Himachal Pradesh and where His Holiness the Dalai Lama lives. The city has a calm atmosphere and is home to a number of Tibetan temples, such as the beautiful Namgyal Monastery. From McLeod Ganj, a famous suburb of Dharamshala, visitors can learn about Tibetan culture, check out the busy markets and get a great view of the Kangra Valley.
Spiti Valley
When we go to some of the most rural parts of Himachal Pradesh, we find the beautiful Spiti Valley. At more than 12,000 feet above sea level, this high-altitude desert is a great place for people who love adventure and nature. Spiti Valley is a unique and surreal place to visit, with its barren scenery, old monasteries, and breathtaking views. The town of Kibber is one of the highest places where people live in the world. The Key Monastery is a Buddhist monastery that has been around for a thousand years.
Kasol
In the Parvati Valley, Kasol is a haven for hippies. Kasol in the Parvati Valley is a great place to go if you want peace and quiet and a hippie vibe. Kasol has become a famous backpacker's paradise because it is full of lush greenery, gurgling rivers, and snow-capped peaks. The town is known for its lively hippie culture, delicious Israeli food, and the chance to go on treks to nearby places like Kheerganga and Tosh.
Dalhousie
A Retreat for Colonials Dalhousie is a beautiful hill station where our trip ends. This town was named after Lord Dalhousie, a British Governor-General. Its colonial buildings and small streets give it an old-world feel. The Dhauladhar mountain range and the Pir Panjal mountain range look beautiful from Dalhousie. People can look around the churches from the colonial era, take long walks through the pine woods, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
